Computer Systems Design + Integration

Systems designed with the instincts of a cat and the precision of a machine

JMC Global Cat LLC is a computer systems design and computer integrated systems design studio based in Riverton, Utah. We architect networks, integrate platforms, and harden infrastructure so that your technology moves with the quiet confidence of a cat and the repeatable precision of a machine. Every engagement begins with observation, continues with deliberate design, and ends with systems you can trust in the dark. The studio serves organizations that depend on reliable technology, from single-site operations to multi-location businesses, and it treats each system as a long-term commitment rather than a one-time project. The Nine Lives Path

Milestones from the Riverton Studio

Every studio practice has a story, and ours is written in milestones. From a single desk in Riverton to a managed operations desk serving hundreds of systems across the United States, each chapter added discipline, resilience, and a deeper understanding of how machines and teams work together.

The cat is a patient animal. It watches before it moves, tests before it commits, and recovers its footing the instant something shifts. Those same habits, applied to computer systems design, became the operating philosophy that still guides every project the studio accepts.

This studio does not chase trends, and it does not sell hardware for the sake of selling hardware. It chases systems that behave themselves, which means taking the time to understand an operation before touching a single cable or changing a single configuration. The milestones below record how that discipline took shape, one measured step at a time.

  1. 2012

    Founded in Riverton

JMC Global Cat LLC opened its first studio in Riverton, Utah with a single conviction: computer systems should behave like a cat moving through an unfamiliar room, alert, measured, and unhurried. The first commissioned work was a network design for a local manufacturer, and that project established the studio standard, wire-level documentation, honest timelines, and designs that survive contact with the real world. That first network still runs on the same architectural principles the studio teaches today, proof that patience pays off.

  2. 2016

    Platform Integration Practice

In 2016 the studio formalized a platform integration practice, connecting customer relationship management, inventory, e-commerce, and warehouse systems into single coherent platforms. That same year the first managed infrastructure contracts arrived, and the team learned that a system is only as good as the care it receives after launch. Recurring operations work became a permanent part of the studio identity from that point forward. Integration also taught the team that clean documentation is a deliverable in its own right, not an afterthought to be written when time allows.

  3. 2020

    Security Hardening Practice

A dedicated security hardening practice was created in 2020 to protect systems at the network, application, and data layers. Every new deployment now passes through a threat model review, and the studio certified repeatable secure deployment pipelines for clients in finance and healthcare. Defending systems became as important as designing them, and that balance still defines the studio today. Hardening reviews now begin before a system is built, not after an incident forces them, and that ordering has prevented real damage for real clients.

  4. 2026

    Managed Infrastructure at Scale

Today the studio operates a round-the-clock desk that monitors and maintains hundreds of integrated systems across the United States. The nine lives philosophy guides every engagement: design for resilience, recover fast, and keep moving even when something fails. JMC Global Cat LLC now helps organizations treat their technology as a dependable, living part of their daily operation. The desk measures its success in quiet months, the ones where nothing notable happened because the system simply behaved as designed.

The measures the studio tracks for every engagement, from the first site visit to steady-state operations.

A cat moves through the dark with total confidence, testing every step before committing its full weight. That is exactly how this studio builds computer systems: careful observation, deliberate design, and quiet resilience at every layer of the stack.

We combine the instinct of the night hunter with the repeatability of a finely tuned machine, and we bring that combination to every client we serve from the Riverton studio. The technology we deliver should never be the loudest thing in a room. It should simply work, hour after hour, the way a settled cat keeps watch at a window.

The measures we take are simple and few: honest documentation, tested changes, and a desk that answers. Everything else is decoration, and the studio has little patience for decoration when reliability is on the line.

Put your systems on solid ground

Tell us about your network, your platforms, or your operations desk. The studio will listen first, then design a path that fits your reality. Whether you need a single integrated platform or a fully managed infrastructure, the first conversation is free and carries no obligation. Bring the documentation you have, or bring nothing at all. The studio will ask the questions that matter and give you a straight answer about what is worth doing first and what can wait.
